There are plenty of online jobs for moms. These are legitimate stay-at-home jobs for moms that have extremely flexible schedules, too. In fact, there are even some online jobs for stay-at-home moms without any fees whatsoever to start.
For example, I earn money freelance writing and I have a friend who writes short stories and sells them on Amazon to make $1,000 per month or more each month in passive income. Neither one of these side-hustles requires a huge investment or upfront fee.
In fact, if you have a computer and internet connection, there are many low to no investment things you can do online and even from the comfort of your home. The key is to find something that is not a scam or requires you to sell products that you have to buy (like many network marketing “opportunities.”) If you don’t have a computer yet or you need some replacement parts, sites like 25pc can be your go-to.
If you need some ideas for stay-at-home mom employment you should also check out one of the web’s largest flexible job search engine, FlexJobs.com. FlexJobs.com has a vast database of legitimate stay-at-home jobs for moms that range from customer service to social media management and more. They even feature the best jobs for stay at home moms with no experience.
You can check here to see what kind of jobs are available at FlexJobs.com
Without further ado, here are some neat jobs for moms who don’t have a ton of experience of money to get going.

With the online world growing like crazy, there are plenty of opportunities moms to work from home as a virtual assistant. If you have a knack for organization and a heart for supporting people behind the scenes, consider being a virtual assistant.
There are many tasks a virtual assistant could do including answering emails, arranging travel, scheduling social media posts and more. I’ve had small projects as a VA for writing sales copy, creating sales leads and configuring CRMs (customer management databases.)

Start a Blog
Blogging entails writing content that is helpful for an audience. Many times, you are in the position to recommend products that will help people solve a problem.
Problems can range from raising crunchy granola kids to budgeting, rafting, building birdhouses and more. Everyday day, people are searching the internet to find solutions to problems that you could provide answers for.
If you can provide useful tools, tips and commentary on using certain products, you can earn commission from affiliate sales. You could also create your own products or earn money from ad networks that pay you for the number of people that visit your website.
There are many ways you can earn money from an online presence. If you are interested in becoming a blogger, here are two steps to take:
- Start a blog with BlueHost.com for as little as $3.95 per month. Once you sign up for web hosting with BlueHost.com for your new website, send your purchase receipt to me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I’ll give you my 10-part video series on setting up your blog for free!
- Once you are established and are earning $100-$200 per month with your blog, consider enrolling in Elite Blog Academy. It’s the blog course that I took to help increase my blog income. It’s expensive and only opens once a year usually in February. Sign up for the Elite Blog Academy waiting list here, so you can at least get notifications when the cart opens.

Yes, you can actually make money with your voice. With the explosion of online video and training on top of traditional media needs, there are tons of courses, radio spots, video games, and internet advertisements that need voices.
Though my kids typically go into a studio to record when they are booked, (we live in one of the biggest voiceover markets in the U.S.) they record auditions from home. However, you can really live anywhere to record auditions and the work you book. This is exactly what Carrie Olsen does. If you want to get started in voice acting, check out Carrie Olsen’s free guide, Getting Start in VoiceOver.
If you want to fast-track your voice-acting, you can create a profile on Fiverr.com and get a $60 podcasting mic from Amazon. Within just a few short days, you could be getting requests to voice over videos, podcast intros and much more.
