How to Buy a Home with Cash

Have you ever known anyone who purchased a home with cash? I’ve done it twice! In the first case, I purchased a beautiful graystone in Chicago, walking distance from Starbucks and Wholefoods, for $14,000. (Well, it was actually $12,500, and the rest was closing costs.) Can you imagine getting a home for $14,000? After searching for a renovation project for a couple of years, I was able to snag this crazy deal due to some weird circumstances.

I believe it was the hand of God and the grace of God!

Check out this testimony about how I got the idea to look for a greystone in an up-and-coming area and how I locked it down for just $14,000. At the time, it was within walking distance of Whole Foods, Starbucks and Chipotle.

This is part one of the story. Next, I’ll talk about the renovation process and converting the property into an Airbnb. ⛏️

Part 2

In this video, I’m sharing more on rehab costs, process and how I ultimately made money from this project.

Once I converted this property into an Airbnb, a lightbulb went off, and I realized there was more than one way to make a buck in real estate! I’m sharing this testimonial simply because it proves that FAITH has always been a key ingredient in my real estate journey.

With little money, experience and connections, I had to pray DAILY to figure these things out.

Hopefully, this testimony encourages you to go after your real estate dreams by using faith, hope and believing in God to do the impossible!
