I’m back & life has changed!

I’ve been pretty low-key since 2019 due to some life challenges, but I felt led to come back and pick up where I left off. Here’s the story of where I’ve been and what I’ve been up to all these years.

I started this blog back in 2014 to walk people through the steps I took to pay off ove $120K in debt. I would then go on to tell people how I got started investing in real estate, the stock market and eventually was blessed enough to manage and growth my children’s careers in acting and entertainment.

In 2018, things were going great for our family. We had purchased an investment property and, renting out another and were well on our way to buying a third property. It finally looked like we were going to live the dream of retiring by 40 with multiple real-estate investments while enjoying total and complete debt freedom.

Then, life hit! In 2019, I separated from the person I was married to and started the process of dissolving my marriage. It was one of the most excruciating things I had ever been through in my life. It was an extremely contentious proceeding that kept my head on a swivel 24/7 with barely any room to catch my breath.

Many days, I found myself barely able to get out of bed while still tasked with the responsibility of raising my two children full-time while caring for my mother. In this process, my goal was to stay afloat, stick with God and still see a good outcome in a bad situation. I’ll writing about this more and talking about how I’ve been overcoming intense trauma, disappointment and emotional roller coasters.

My goal is to help someone who may find themselves going through a similar process—rebuilding in the midst of hurt, pain and despair. Fortunately, my story is shaping up quote nicely. I’m stronger, more resilient and hopeful than ever. For a full update on what’s new, check out my YouTube Video below:
