Losing Weight in Your Forties
Join me as I talk about my transformative weight loss journey, which began not with a diet or workout but rather with creating an image of health and wealth while boosting my self-esteem despite the number on the scale! In the process, I also had to examine the emotional and spiritual roots of my health issues. 😌
I started by looking inwards, tapping into self-love, and affirming my worth through daily prayer confessions based on Bible scriptures. Once I built an image of health and wellness on the inside, the rest came much easier!
I started heavy lifting and added some running to the mix. In this process, I was pushing my body to its limits, but always in sync with the revelations of health and wellness, I carry as a born-again believer. I made sure to fuel my body right, incorporating more protein into my diet and eating macro-friendly foods.
This journey has taught me that weight loss and health are not just about the physical changes but also engage the spiritual and emotional part of myself, too.
